Our certifications

Before choosing the wooden floor for your home, ask yourself how it was made, if it is able to bring harmony and wellbeing into the place where you live and if it was produced in an ethical and responsible way. To help you make an informed choice, we have undertaken the path of transparency and quality. Our parquet floors are accompanied by important certifications that demonstrate our commitment to valuable production, inspired by respect for nature and health.

Quality and Ecology have always been our guidelines. CP Parquet was one of the first companies in Italy to achieve UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 environmental certification. Every day we apply sensitivity and responsibility to making systematic checks on all the environmental aspects of our activities so that we can be sure our production is ecologically sound and safe for humans. We have voluntarily taken on this commitment in order to achieve ever more important results regarding environmental friendliness. In addition, CP Parquet has ISO 9001:2008 certification which regulates the company’s quality management system. As such certification involves a full, global approach, it guarantees that products are manufactured in conditions where all stages are under strict control and that the corporate policy is to strive for continuous improvement aimed at high customer satisfaction.

Chain of Custody certification guarantees the traceability of materials from FSC® certified forests. Possession of valid Chain of Custody FSC® certification is a must for products to be sold as certified.

This certification means that an organization can guarantee the origins of the timber used for its products and thereby provide accurate, transparent and controlled proof that it is making an active contribution to responsible forest management.

Chain of Custody certification to PEFC Standards ensures end users that the products they buy are made of timber from sustainable forest management, involving a series of activities which exclude:
• illegal felling or illegal trade of forest products;
• violation of the population’s traditions and rights pertaining to forestry;
• destruction by forestry operations of valuabe environments worthy of preservation;
• conversion of significant natural forest areas into plantations;
• introduction of GMOs into the environment.
Chain of Custody certification outlines requirements for tracking certified material from the forest to the final product to ensure that the wood contained in the product or product line originates from certified forests and requires that no timber from controversial sources (e.g. illegal felling or protected areas) enters the certified product chain

Our commitment to eco-compatible production goes even further. The floorboards in our Antico Asolo and Mosaici d’Asolo lines employ only Italian lumber and carry the prestigious certification 100% Made in Italy, the only one that guarantees the authenticity of a totally Italian product. The entire work cycle is still carried out completely in-house in Italy, with each stage closely controlled: seasoning, drying, cutting, gluing, profiling, oiling, varnishing and finishing, which is performed manually by skilled local craftspeople.

Products 100% Made in Italy can be tracked and are identified by a hologram that cannot be copied, and progressive numbering.

TÜV PROFiCERT-product Interior’ certification involves quality criteria regarding emissions of volatile organic compounds from products installed in homes.
This voluntary certification aims to safeguard people’s health and the quality of products used, in order to ensure guaranteed quality.

As well as approval tests, certification also foresees periodical checks on products released onto the market, and further testing on the manufacturer’s premises (audit).
