Milano Design City 2020: CP Parquet’s novelties

  |   By  |  0 Comments

CP Parquet re-discovers the beauty of colours.

Thanks to a renewed and harmonious colour range, from arctic white to light greys, from shaded blue to black forest, the new finishes allow for a full customization of your parquet.

Created with special water-based varnishes in full respect of the environment and TÜV PROFiCERT-product Interior certified, these new chromatic effects give elegance and healthiness to living spaces in order to live in wellness and harmony with nature.

A new finish for an aged look.

On a selection of oak, elm and ash planks, the master CP Parquet craftsmen apply the “wood wiping”, a delicate varnish, laid using a rag, which caresses the parquet and enhances its grain. Echo of an artistic tradition having roots anchored to the past, this finish is applied entirely by hand to this very day, and it’s once again expression of the utmost handicraft ability and excellence of the CP Parquet Made in Italy.

Incredible shades thus give your wooden flooring a unique and aged kind of look.

The Gran Heritage Living

THE GRAND HERITAGE LIVING is an award-winning project and heavily cited by the most sought-after Australian design magazines. It’s an apartment set in the XIX century “Spencer Grand Hotel” in Melbourne, where the prestigious CP Parquet floorings found a home.

In a big city, where the rhythms are hasty and life runs faster than thoughts, a wooden flooring invites to stop and relax, to enjoy the scent and warmth of nature beneath our feet. The choice to install a European Oak – Nodoso choice – brushed and varnished Belluno floor, enlighten the room and enhances them, making the spaces look bigger and blending splendidly with the chosen furniture.

Aesthetic, technical and performance demands are mixed together in this construction, where CP Parquet floors from the Antico Asolo 2-Layer Collection guarantee the utmost elegance, comfort, healthiness and stability over time. All this is certified by the most authoritative national and international agencies.

Bio’s Kitchen. An enchanted place inspired by nature

  |   By  |  0 Comments

A restaurant inspired by the nature finds its perfect balance between the style of the location and the functional soul of wood flooring. Bio’s Kitchen is an enchanted place. A courtyard in the heart of Bologna, where you can free your mind from daily distractions and live a whole new biologic gastronomic experience.

The venue’s interiors are extremely suggestive: designed by ArchiNOW Studio from Rimini, the location is enriched by natural materials and plants.
The parquet recalls the typical colors of a soil and the brown shade of roots. The splendid larch natural hues were chosen to fit all the different nuances of the pieces of furniture inside the restaurant and the tones of the façade – whose exposed bricks reflect the features of Bologna architecture – creating a cozy harmonic space.

The saw cutting effect makes a statement. Those light signs left from the cutting procedure recall the ancient sawing process, enriching the planks with the authentic worn appearance that ArchiNOW was willing to achieve.

The successful collaboration between the Architecture Studio and CP Parquet brought to a high-quality parquet, able to combine aesthetics with strength.
Relying on CP Parquet for Bio’s Kitchen’s flooring was a natural choice. Parquets are entirely made with renewable resources: wood species coming from farming forests or FSC and PEFC certified areas, driven in a responsible way. Finishes are made with water-based varnishes and natural oils with low VOC emissions.

The art of renovating the antique

  |   By  |  0 Comments

It was the motto “authenticity in change” to inspire the Gashof Zum Hirschen Hotel renovation work: in fact, upon renovation of a historical and notorious structure such as the pilgrim’s old hostel located in Alta Val di Non (BZ), the architect Lorenzo Aureli devoted himself to a design that could renew the building in full respect and memory of its history.

This is how the desire to re-interpret the concept of hospitality, which once ruled that very space, directed the interior design: essential, clean and featured by the constant pursuit of contact with Nature and with the wanderers’ spirit.

Therefore, in order to make such harmony between man and nature alive and tangible, the hotel has been completely furnished with CP Parquet’s larch flooring from the Antico Asolo 3 layers NATURA Collection.

The name of the collection itself refers to a specific kind of product, realized in full respect of the environment and guaranteed of its sustainability by the most authoritative Italian and international organizations. A natural product, 100% made in Italy and TÜV PROFiCERT-product Interior certified which ensured the people’s health safety thanks to its extremely low emission of Volatile Organic Compounds.

The use of larch and the equally natural materials for floors and ceilings also recalls the Tyrolean culture of welcome and gives the rooms an intimate and comforting atmosphere.

The fine and natural CP Parquet floors were therefore chosen to give well being and relax to the guests of the Gasthof Zum Hirschen Hotel, in full respect of the spirit of both the building and the scenery.

CP Parquet’s craftsmanship meets the savoir-faire of Bari’s masters of taste

Acknowledged by the famous Gambero Rosso thanks to the excellence of their products, the Covella pastry chefs have inaugurated a new space in Gioia del Colle, in the Province of Bari. It is a renowned, sweet-tasting project which blends with the delicacy and recognized quality of the CP Parquet floorings.

Designed by the XYZ FACTORY Studio, the bakery was conceived on the basis of a thorough and meticulous study on the spaces and materials: each detail derives from a geometric and linear style, like the 45° floor laying of European Oak in “Rustic” choice. In fact, among the simplicity and warmth of the shapes, in a refined and welcoming scenery, the chromatic explosion of the products on display stands out as expression of their mastery.
The choice of CP Parquet’s “Antico Asolo” 2 Layers Collection is not only due to aesthetic reasons, but it is also related to the technical characteristics of this products, which guarantee the maximum stability and wear resistance over time, thus ideal as coating for extremely busy areas such as public spaces.

For a bakery which celebrates the savoir-faire of a top-quality confectionery production every day, CP Parquet has worked with care and craftsmanship, cooperating for the realization of a space which caresses both taste and sight.

A design apartment, pampered by the nature of CP Parquet

  |   By  |  0 Comments

A state-of-art apartment with large windows, which overlooks the beautiful hilly landscape surrounding the historical city of San Marino.

It’s a new context, where harmoniously coexist the modern design furnishing and CP Parquet floors, sweet remind of nature in which the apartment is immersed.

When the warm colors and the sinuous curves of the parquet meet the straight lines of contemporary design, they create a welcoming and comforting environment.
In fact, the choice for this project fell on the precious Natur American Walnut boards from the CP PARQUET “Antico Asolo 3 Layer” Collection, and the results are marvellous.
The matching, completed by pastel-colored portraits hanging from the walls, allows to live in a delicate environment, sweetened by the morbid blonde tones of timber that spread throughout the house and keep the present geometries together.

The nature of CP Parquet comes back once again to define space with genuiness and elegance.

Eclectic apartment with terrace

  |   By  |  0 Comments

Located in a historical 19th century palace in central Verona, the project for this small apartment was born from the need to combine a space of small dimensions with the will to revisit the historicity of the building through a specific choice of materials, such as chevron wood planks and the seminato in marble graniglia. This process has generated a project functional in its simplicity, yet stimulating in its care for details.
The dialogue with the client has made it possible to maintain some characteristics of the original space, like the recovery of the wooden rafters, integrated with elements which make this apartment unique and vibrating through the constant references between different surfaces.
The boiserie which we can find on the living room wall, also present in the bedroom, focuses its elegance in its knots, which join both vertical and horizontal elements. At the same way, the bathroom decoration is not only utilized along the walls, but also on the bedside tables.
This game of constant references between materials revolves around the main protagonist of this house: the parquet, which is utilized many times on other surfaces, such as the living room table tops, just like the other materials.
From the “Antico Asolo 2 Layer” Collection, European Walnut Natur quality and varnished, the choice of 45° Chevron is meant to be a precise reference to the flooring that once covered these historical city palaces. Classic, lively and timeless, the Chevron is the queen of geometry of wooden flooring installation. It also gives movement and dynamism to these small spaces of unique design.
Finally, the entrance portrait compels those who enter to immediately notice the association with the armchair, thus acting as magnet for the living room, the luminous fulcrum of the house, which overlooks a small terrace decorated as relax zone.

CP Parquet for “Il MAESTOSO” Iper – Urban market in Monza (Italy), designed by De Lucchi

  |   By  |  0 Comments

An innovative project in its traditional nature, son of the XIX century industrial architecture, comes back to bring new life to the ex “Il Maestoso” cinema in Monza (Italy), close to the Park and the Royal Villa of the homonymous city. A superstore with the taste of a market, a space where to taste and discover in person how Iper products are born, financed by the Finiper group – Iper Montebello Spa, and curated by the Archistar Michele De Lucchi and his prestigious ADML CIRCLE studio.
A majestic realization, in which CP Parquet has also been proudly involved.

The project, made in iron and glass, large and bright, is inspired by the typical urban markets born during the Industrial Revolution. An important and significant reference, as the intention was exactly to make it a place of social gathering again rather than commercial, just like it once was.
It’s a center of conviviality and for social meeting, where food is told, lived and becomes object of sharing.

The building lives on three cores: the Market on the ground floor, which represents the pulsing heart of the structure; the Court, a gourmet gallery on the first floor, which means a space dedicated to refreshment, where tasty meals are prepared in open kitchens to be enjoyed; and finally, the Exhibition Area on the top-floor, dedicated to exhibitions and conferences about the world of food, renovated expression of the will to create a center of social gathering, and not only focused on sale.

What floor better than the wooden flooring then, in order to make such a wide facility comfortable? Natural and harmonious, the boarding from the CP Parquet “Antico Asolo 3 Layer” Collection offers serenity and well-being to the environment and conveys relaxation, inviting visitors to stop by to enjoy a drink or to taste delicacies in complete tranquility.

It’s a total of 1’300 sqm of European Oak, “Nodoso” choice, Brushed Unfinished, from the prestigious ‘500 Line, as well as 600 sqm of the Maxi Line which have been installed in the Monza Iper Urban Market. Floors of majestic dimensions, up to 4 mt of length, for an important piece of work. Besides, the choice of varnishing on site was dictated with the necessity of meeting the demand of obtaining a floor with fire-proof finish (reaction class CFL-s1) and bound to annual maintenance, with respect to safety in public and trading space.

An important project which gives new life to a historical focal point of the Monza urban fabric, whose realization we are proud to have contributed to and that we hope to go back to being a social reference point for the local population.

We would like to thank Serafino Pelizzari from Pelizzari Srl for carrying on the work with professionalism and for the care with which he devoted himself to the installation and varnishing of our majestic parquets on site.
